a few photos from last night

Does this look like she is mixing drinks?

On Monday I had book club and I came home and Evie and Sean were having a picnic in the hallway.

Well Evie wanted to make me a milkshake, however her process for making them looks more like making a martini then a milkshake.

jingle what?

The other night at dinner I was telling Sean about my friends blog and her post about Potty Humor and boys you can read it here.

Anyways her son sings jingle bells using poop instead of bells, well I didn't think Evie was paying attention - but yesterday I said want to sing jingle bells....and she said yes.......but what did she say:

Jingle Poop, Jingle Poop, poopy, poopy, poopy, poop!

oh my - I am sure the other parents at daycare will love when she teaches all the other kids that!

Lession I learned - your child is always listening!

kitchen fun

Here is a video of playing with her kitchen - Click here

Gingerbread House

What does a the building of a Ginger Bread house and a two year old have in common? They both are sweet!

Well most of the time that statement will work, but a 2 year old who loves candy, makes for an adventure in decorating a house. Sean built the house while she was napping, then after dinner we decorated it. It was a struggle, but I think we got most of the candy on the house and only some of it in her mouth! This is the face I get lately when I try to take a picture of her.

Oh I should add that she is in her PJs, because she has to change into her PJs in order to take a nap on the weekends. When she wakes up she doesn't want to take them off. I think she would wear jammies all day if I let here.

Christmas #2

Last weekend we celebrated Christmas with Bob and Kathy. We had a wonderful brunch and then it was present time. I made Evie stand in front of the tree before opening presents, as you can see she was less then excited for the picture. However she loved opening presents. Of course, what child doesn't.
Here favorite gift was the toy kitchen, but the pink tent was a close second! We have both set up in her room and I think she could play in there for hours now. After presents Evie helped to decorate Christmas cookies. :) She kept telling us how she was painting the cookies!
And one last photo after we got the kitchen set up in her room!
